If you can tell, I was going for the more classical chinese/japanese art approach which I think worked out quite well. Though despite her wearing a kimono-like outfit I didn't actually draw with her in mind to be Japanese but just 'orientally-inspired'. |D
I've given her chrysanthemums because they are very popular in Japanese art for their meaning (but also because I couldn't find the flower I originally wanted to draw. xD;; ).
